"If the Mean Green closes the season 1-11, a very real possibility, the program would be 493-489. North Texas could be at .500 or under as a program as early as next season for the first time in more than 100 years."

What is more sobering is at the end of the 2000 season (the one prior to RV's arrival) that program record stood at 428 - 372!

how is that not a rallying cry to the entire fan base.   We put together a historically winning tradition with FOUTS!!!  Yes rv got facilities in place but what's the point of the facilities if the team is unwatchable?   It's like having a 5star restaurant space with chandeliers and beautiful wood and crisp linen and then serving McDonald's leftovers.     What's the point?!?!

Ooops! Haven't had that second cup of coffee and made a math error. Should have been 428 - 372. I was using a pen and a yellow sticky to write down past statistics from the UNT site.
