News coverage for the banner

What kind of news coverage did the banner get? I was busy with a little one last night and couldn't watch any TV news. I saw Vito's blog about it, but didn't see anything in the online DMN or Startlegram. Any radio coverage? Inquiring minds want to know!

DMN sportsday tweeted a picture of the banner flying.

I also didn't see the news, but doubt there was any coverage in local sports reports.

That says far more about the lack of stature of UNT athletics under RV than it does about the banner flying, by the way...

Hopefully the new donor will cultivate more than 17 large donors in 2 years (what took RV 15 to do) and buy out the contract, then we can truly start fresh. 

Hopefully rumors are true and RV has nothing to do with this hire. That said, the new coach won't be the new AD's choice. What high level coaching candidate would even consider coming here under these circumstances? 

There should have been a clean sweep after Portland State. We could be approaching an AD hire by now. That AD could have hired his guy after the season. 

Instead, we are doing everything backassward. Again.

So dysfunctional.

you're right. I take care of my self-gratification in private and for far less than $2000 and my ego is perfectly healthy without the stroke of a false sense of accomplishment. 

but here...let me update this for you: 

Ben UNT90 and CBL are out walking in the middle of nowhere when they happen upon a massive dumpster fire. Ben UNT90, who just so happens to be carrying a small bottle of Ozarka Spring attempts to douse this blaze with his 6 ounces of water...a portion of the fire flickers briefly, a bit of smoke, but on the whole it does very little.

Ben UNT90: "well, now what?"
CBL: "I don't know...more water?"
BenUNT90: "NO, butt-face...I just tried water...can't you see the fire is still burning?"
CBL: "I guess. we could just let it burn out...I mean, I don't like the environmental ramifications, but surely this thing can't burn for much more than 18 months"
BenUNT90: "you are such a butt-face. no...I know...I'm going to dump this drum of kerosene on it. that'll surely fix things"
CBL: "I was wondering why you were carrying that. this is the last time you and I go for a walk"

just because I don't have a solution for you, that doesn't make your idea good.

As far as basketball goes I like his posts(his self gratification) and have agreed with most of them.  But now he's hinted that he's going private, so I assume that means he'll have nothing else to say,...basketball included?

but in this case I was referring specifically to masturbation. I prefer the internet...others, apparently, an airplane pulling a banner. the end result is about the same...a brief high and falling asleep content.

Gotcha.  This basketball season non-con is so bad it's hardly believable we'll have anyone attend at all.  It's actually got me watching soccer.  SOCCER! for crying out loud.  

But seriously on that note our game today can be seen for free on the Tech website.  It's worked pretty well most of the season so that's where I suggest everyone go to see it.

Just for the record, I made a point to watch Newey Scruggs' segment on the Channel 5 10:00 p.m. news last night and there was no mention of the banner. I don't always watch him but figured that he or Channel 4 would have the best odds.
