Great opportunity for some educational outreach about the state of Mean Green athletics.

It should be.

Not being picky or anything. I'm really glad the banner flew. My 12:30 class is French and we had a test today, but we normally stay after tests. However, today she let us go after we finished so I was able to catch it. Unfortunately, the guys who I walked out of class with asked, "Who's Rick Villarreal?" I'll say it again and again: once students actually get informed on what he has done for this program, and get behind on the firing movement, that's when we could actually make Rick sweat (without a Jimmy John sandwich in sight!).

So, UNT90 sets up a site, announces the rules, pleads for donations, sets the parameters for the funds use, and then on his own changes the rules and decides for himself when the banner will be flown. ...
How about a GoFundMe site to raise funds for a fire UNT90 banner...the guy that broke the agreement with donors?

You don't have your facts straight.

UNT90 communicated with donors every step of the way. We've been discussing the campus flyover idea for a while and it got our support.

I'm glad this is educational for the students, but they aren't the ultimate audience this banner is trying to reach.

True, but they do hold some power to change things as we've seen around the country.

I hear ya, but I doubt our players will go on strike demanding RV's job. Even if they did, the large donors would still protect RV.
