I kept expecting a question as to how the "Mean Green" nickname came about.  And expecting, again, the wrong answer. 

 

I thought this was a good list.  It showed the author did some research. 

 

I like Tennessee's checker board end zones.

I once came across a biography of her (in a used bookstore in San Marcos) which said she mainly went to TWU, but attended NT as well. Her husband attended NT too.  I don't remember much else...

I remember her blaming her time in Denton for some perceived problems she had; this was just before "converting" to some flavor of Christianity, which she left and blamed for something else soon after.  Maybe she'd be a good head football coach at UNT.
