It appears that Texas A&M will be giving him his walking papers.  I know that his name has soured here as a HC, how about as an OC?

A a friend mentioned, Hayden Fry came to UNT after being fired at A&M.  Perhaps this could be a good place for Spavital to bounce back?  I liked his offense a lot early in the season.  Things have since fallen apart for him but the potential is there.

After being a P5 OC there's no way in hell he would be one here. He's tasted the P5 glory, so it's either a lateral move(P5 OC), or upward move in position at a lesser school(HC at a G5).

I personally don't care to have him if Riley and Norvell are still candidates.

Your friend needs to reminded that Fry came directly here from SMU in 1973, after being fired.

Also, something that occurred in 1973 probably doesn't have much effect on how things will happen in 2015...

Spavital might be worth talking to, but it is kind of alarming that his offense has gotten worse with two 5* QBs at the helm, in Kyle Allen and Kyler Murray.

They're going to keep firing coordinators until the actual problem takes the USC job or moves to the NFL.

I am sorry if it seems like I am trivializing this topic...I don't mean to, Harry. I just can't help but confess that ever since I've heard the name Spavital I have had a mental image.
