Time to make your pick. We're a 30-point underdog with a 63.5 point over/under from the last Vegas line I saw. It's 58 degrees with light showers in Ruston.

I'd love to pick another Canales-led win here, but dammit, Jim, he's a doctor, not a miracle worker.

I think we'll be down big in the fourth but get some garbage time scores to make it a bit more respectable.

      What to expect from Odom?

      I would suspect that we've seen the end of the 3-3-5. My guess is that he will go back to the 3-4 we ran through the middle of the season. We have run some 4-2-5 in obvious passing situations. If he is a 4-man front guy, he could use that as a base. I don't really think he will do that. We have to do something to fill more gaps and get a pass rush. You can do either with the fronts we currently have, but in the 3-4 you have to be willing to shade the nose. Caponi absolutely would not do that. We NEVER slid the front or moved the nose off of a zero shade. Brown can be a much bigger factor than he has been. So can our DT's. I just hope we put our kids in a situation where they have a chance. Filling gaps on the LOS from the third level is a good way to give up 500 yards a game. Hopefully we never see that again.

      Usually you’ll have one game during the week and one during the weekend. It’s just how college basketball does things. Our home non-con is atrocious (both teams and dates) but there are some good weekend games in conference.

      My guess is that Briles is such an offensive genius and will run the offense that Orr can just come home. But I’d rather have Orr as DC and leave Gary at home.
