He's been a breath of fresh air during both of the horrendous seasons where he has been given the team to babysit for the rest of the season.

I think Mac and Dodge did the babysitting. Chico is the parent that comes home to seeing the kids drawing with sharpies on the walls, bubbles spewing out of the washing machine, and the cat half shaved. While the babysitter is sleeping on the couch or to stubborn/lazy to come downstairs and correct the chaos appropriately.  Ultimately, ol' Chico rallies the kids back under supervised watch, cleans up the mess, and then gets to hear about the kids acting up whenever he isn't in charge of them.
