Haven't seen the film on it, but it sound like the UTKFC guy ducked his head right before McClain tackled him and that it was a shoulder, not a helmet, tackle.

Anyplace to see that replay?

Terrible call, there was no helmet to helmet contact.  McClain put his hands up and that was the first contact.  No idea why there was an ejection.

I think the refs felt pressure to even the ejection score after their player was tossed for the retaliation earlier. Only logical explanation at this point. I think the receiver caused this by ducking while McClain was already in his tackling motion. I believe he now misses the first half of the LaTech game.

if overturned which by all accounts it will be, he will be able to play. If not he's done for the first half.

I'm concerned there may not be sufficient footage to overturn it.   When the play was reviewed, the response was that the "play stands" rather than "the play was confirmed", which typically means there wasn't sufficient video to confirm or overturn.
