I guess someone at the DRC thought better of the UTKFC crack, since the article and link now call it UTKFC.

They're a good conference rival for us. I'm glad we can finally call it a rivalry now that we've won a game off them.

Update: I get it now. This board is automatically changing it to UTKFC. Not the DRC. Sneaky.

As I was driving to Waco today to see my grandkids I noticed four buses headed North. I assume it was the UTKFC band. Did they come? Were they annoying? How many UTKFC fans came? Were they also annoying?

Yes, their band came.  They were a little annoying, mostly at the first part of the game.  It seemed like they were going to be playing and chanting in between each play, but they backed off early on.   They played the Ghostbusters song over and over and over, which was a bit annoying.

I feared they would have a huge crowd because I felt like I was seeing a lot of them walking in.   They had a decent turn out, but this time they seemed to stay in the visitors sections.  I didn't have or see any run ins with them.

@Christopher Walker pointed out that there were several bastardized versions of our battle flag in the parking lot, in UTKFC colors with their bird head in place of the star.   That's annoying too.

Hmmm, I was hoping they would be more annoying, because I think they are the best candidate to be a big rival with us. Come on RoadGrackles!

La Tech would be better, but neither of us bring our bands to the out of town games. Maybe we will bring the band to this years La. Tech game.  We certainly need the extra boost, and who knows what sort of "rivalry action" blossoms as a result.

UTKFC brought a decent crowd that helped fill in our student side. Guessing with the band, they had 800. They were louder than us throughout the first quarter. I am glad they showed up.

Biggest crowd noise for most of the night was for the spiderman dance winner. And then, we won the game.

Is there anyway to disable the auto-correct for UTKFC? I assume what I just typed will be auto-corrected to UTKFC. I will type UTKFC if I want it to be UTKFC.

Their band director needs to be instructed on when to play music.  I was hearing the Go Runners or Ghostbusters songs when their team made good plays (tackles for losses, big offensive plays) AND when our team got first downs.  Does Tennessee play Rocky Top, or does SMU play the most obnoxious sound in all of sports (she'll be coming round the mountain) anytime the other team converts?  The only comparison i can think of is USC constantly playing the trojan march.

In order to keep UTKFC from being changed to UTKFC, you have to hit Ctrl-A, Ctrl-C, Shift-R, shut down your computer, drive to Best Buy and purchase a new one.

No, wait. That didn't work either.
