In spite of everything going on with this program, this might be the most satisfying win I've seen.  And it couldn't have happened against a more deserving school, coach, and bunch of players.  They seemed to have forgotten to flip the bird to our students tonight.  I wonder if they'll be tweeting "The U" signs from our locker room tonight.

For one night, perhaps we can set everything else aside, and simply enjoy a victory.  It's been a while.

NMSU just beat Idaho in overtime.  17 game loss streak over.

Congratulations on the win! Very happy for y'all to finally get the never beating UT-San Antonio and 0 for season monkeys off your back! As I posted on another thread, this series will be very interesting in the coming seasons. #birdsup #GMG

For the UTKFC fans who didn't think this was a rivalry before the game, I'm sure some have changed their minds after their team just gave up UNT's first win of the season. So while UTKFC still holds the edge, 2-1, I think there will be some bitterness begin to develop. Just like us and SMU, this year. If we turn out to be SMU's only win this year, I swear to God....

I'm happy we could get this rivalry style competition going. Y'all had us beat twice now, and it was starting to look like UNT aquired another curse (losing to UTKFC curse) until last night. See y'all next year, I truly look forward to the UNTvUTSA games!
