Yes I do/did, and said so at the time. Sadly, Chico campaigned the dysfunctional fans and almost pulled it off.

If I'm overreacting, it's because of last time, 

And several have already said he should be a candidate in another thread. 

Madness.

But let's bring in the coach that runs a system so antiquated that only the service academys and Ga Tech run it.  Now that will attract the local kids with multiple offers and fill the seats at Apogee.

If you don't get Fritz, are you going to take your ball and go home? If RV hires Fritz are you going to change your mind on Fritz? If Fritz gets hired and fails, can we fire you?

You think he would have been a bad hire, but since it never happened you can't know for a fact.  Just the same as I can't know for a fact that he would have been a good hire, thus my use of the words may have been.

He would have us in a bowl. Probably next year.

But by all means hire a guy for head coach that no other FBS team would hire for a coordinator position. That would be oh so North Texas, after all, and guys like you that are happy winning 3 games a year would have no problem with it. 

We really do deserve what we get.

Nope, but I won't stoop to being an ass.  I also am not campaigning for Chico just like I am not campaigning for Darrell Royal, I mean Fritz.

This right here is reason enough to get a game ball. As I said from day one, no matter what happens in the 7 games he won't be at UNT next year. You can chill out UNT90, go have a slurpee. 

Yet he campaigns like he did last time. 

Color me skeptical. 

Kinda disappointing that we won't even give the guy a look or maybe he is the one who won't give us a look?

I'm surprised you don't want to bring back Todd Dodge...

So you don't agree that a John Williams establishment warrants a little recognition for its efforts in an absolute dumpster fire of a season. You even find it distasteful... Noted

I'd take him back but he wouldn't take us back. I'd bet you $100 right now that Dodge would do a vastly better job this time around because he'd know what he was getting into and wouldn't waste 2 years ignoring his own defense.

We got a good win in a bad season. Chico delivered this and deserves to enjoy it with the fans and alumni. 

I don't personally know John Williams but he supports the Mean Green personally and with his businesses in a town where you don't always find that. One of the biggest tragedies of the last decade has been the lack of young alumni involvement and as they get older older alumni involvement. A tip of the cap from us all and a game ball is just a little recognition for a business and its owner that's doing its/his part to build a bridge with young alumni. If out of those young alumni 5 or 10 become long term MGC members a game ball is a small price.

Serious question. If Fritz was hired and brought the triple option. Would you complain if he won 10 games in 2017 but was last in the nation in passing. I wouldn't and neither would anyone else. I don't care how we get it done at this point as long as we get it done. The new coach can run the wing T with a 23 scadoo for all I care. Like Al Davis said, Just win baby.

For one, I appreciate a person that has the personal responsibility and character to work at succeeding when he knows he is a lame duck.  Chico could very easily mail it in, but he doesn't and doesn't allow the players to do so either.  I also don't mind someone that goes after somethimg they want, ot campaigning, as one poster puts it.  That is a great example to the young men on the team.
