With all the flash flooding going on in North Texas, remember to stay out of moving water, even in your vehicle.   Texas leads the nation in flood deaths since 1965, and the vast majority of those happened in vehicles trying to cross water.  

Don't die, we need as many Mean Green fans as we can get.

Ya know... Dying in a flood would be a good decision based on how poorly things could get after the banner flies.

Fill them lakes back up!!!

The lakes are full, at least the ones that keep Dallas from flooding. Ray Roberts is .5 inches below cap. Lewisville .9 below cap. Grapevine .8 below. Fall rains are going to put a hurt on the Corps of Engineers.

We're going to get a bunch of rain all at once but it will be nothing like an entire spring of rain where we ended up with trillions of gallons.  I think we might have had 10 days out of 60 where there wasn't any measured precipitation.

I selfishly want the Brazos River lakes back to full. 

PK (-3), Granbury (-2), and Whitney (-3) need that rain.

Unless you support the flying of the banner. if you are one of those you should drown and then burn FOREVER!

I once had a rental car in Houston during a flash flood and was going back to the airport to return the car.  Hit about 18 inches of moving water.  That's when I learned that Fords float.  Since I came out unscathed, I rate 10/10.  Would Ford the river again.

      Unless you only care about bigger donors and have contracts that get extended for staying in budget, like RV had. The sad thing about attendance is that we even have an issue with it. A school this big with this large of an alumni base, in a giant metro area and we can’t sell out the 31k seat football stadium even one time EVER and the 10k seat Super Pit hasn’t seen a crowd of close to capacity in decades. But as someone said, it’s not like the Murchison Center is ever filled to capacity or the Art Department can’t keeP people from seeing an art exhibit or dance performance because too many people are attending. Literally, nobody cares about ANYTHING the university sponsors in any decent number. It’s like the complete 180 degree opposite of A&M, where the brain washing is so strong that these people only wear maroon and khaki and drive maroon cars.

      The NIT isn't anything close to being the HOD Bowl. I don't think people realize how tough it even is to get into the NIT. There are over 350 D1 schools. You basically have to be in the top quarter to make it into either tournmnent. There are like 40 Bowl games...over 60% the schools that play DI football make one. Making the NIT is like...making the Gator Bowl or something. If somehow we ended up in the Gator Bowl that'd be the biggest deal the football team had ever accomplished.

      Miss Cherie Spencer

      As they say in the business, "We got a Steal"! Young lady looks like a potential WNBA pick. Hope all goes well for her at UNT first. I think her HS is in a lower classification because her game is more advanced than her competition (most games). Just finished watching a game against Benton, LA on Feb. 20, 2025. (NFHS Network) Looked to have scored about 30.       I wouldn't be surprised if one of those 5-8 teams makes a run. UNT has been hot and cold, but they just had a good look at Temple, so they should have a good game plan going into their first game assuming its against Temple. The possible match up between UAB/UNT could almost be a toss up, UAB plays later Thursday night and that could be important. The program need to be in the best tournament available to them. Because this team will most likely need to do some major recruiting again this off season.
