I didn't know they planned on just using the existing bridge over Lake Lewisville as the Northbound side + toll lanes.

It helped keep the costs down a little.

Oh I dont doubt it!   Plus, there's not really much room to wiggle over there with the A-Train rail being right up against it.
I wonder if they're going to resurface it and everything... just keeping the frame of the bridge?

Correction. Great grand kids.

I don't understand.  If you have been driving up and down the construction zone, it is easy to see the progress that is being made.

plus utility lines and fiber optics in the lake.

Goodness I hope they resurface the eventual northbound bridge.

I seriously doubt that. They're too busy building little cone animals.
