It's refreshing to hear somebody actually willing to talk X's and O's rather than repeating "tough" and "relentless" ad nauseum.

Did anybody go? What kind of crowd was there?

Decent crowd...front room and back room fairly full. Lots of the "regulars" and a good many new faces as well.

I was there. I got there early (about 15 minutes) and was surprised to be greeted at the door by Coach Canales ( I asked him to autograph the picture from 2010 "pointing the way" to Brelan Chancellor recently published again in the DR-C).

Coach Canales visited with the crowd and seemed to really enjoy being at and on the show. I liked Coach MaC but he always got there after the show started and so never had time to visit before the broadcast started.

Mean Green players featured last night were Darvin Kidsy and Eric Keena. Both did a good job. I'm always pleased when 20 something year old men can string a sentence together. Dave Barnett made some interesting points connecting Keena and the punter from Michigan (Apparently, Dave Barnett called the Michigan/Michigan State game this past weekend).

The show starts at 7:00 and ends absolutely at 8:00. It's a good opportunity to visit with Mean Green friends and to correct the coaching and athletic department mistakes made over the last week.

I like Canales and he will be a solid HC somewhere but just not at UNT, he should have been the one when DMac got hired, now 5 yrs later, it is just time to move on.

Thanks Coach, but UNT needs a fresh face.
