Random Thoughts: I remember that on a long bus ride back from Monroe Louisiana you wanted Dickey fired. I agree that Dickey did more with less than any Coach we have had in this Millennium. The 4 Bowl Games in New Orleans, especially the win over Cincinnati, are still among my favorite memories as a fan. If Dickey had dumped Ramon Flanigan very early and replaced him with a competent OC he would have been more successful. I was told that Dodge wanted to keep Defensive Coaches from Dickey's Staff and RV nixed that idea. I have never asked RV if that is true. However, if Dodge had kept the entire Defensive Staff from the Dickey years, I believe he would have been successful.

Kind of my point. I want him to succeed but he's just not made much progress if any at all. Why him but not these other kids? There's no way they can't match his production, he's scored zero points this season.

Agree. Basketball and has been the better product at UNT for many years now. All eyes/support should be on basketball until Mosley figures out how to field a respectable football program.

There is bound to be a special place in heaven for long term NT football fans. Y'all bitch about DD all you want but his teams usually played to the top of their conference level.

Two things that standout in the stat lines to me. Time Of Possession: sa had the ball nearly 20 minutes longer than we did. And, 3rd Down Conversion: sa converted 10 of 18 3rd downs. We only converted 2 of 11. Thats devastating to an already struggling defense, time and effort wise. Then you compound wasting that effort by pissing away the easy points afforded you by gambling on 4th downs inside the 30. Maybe our FG kicker has the shanks or something? But to me changing D coordinators isn’t going to fix all of our problems because right now we have no idea how to manage a 60 minute football game, which is Classic Air Raid. Rick
