Will we be able to win at least one game?

  1. 1. Coach Canales just promised us on air that his team will win this season. Do you believe him?

    • Yes, at least one.

I think Smith will get us scoring a bunch of points by UTEP, but I'm hoping that we can  somehow get there by San Antonio. Not much chance anywhere else I'm afraid, unless the D has truly been sandbagging it bigtime and changes their attitudes real quick.

I don't see us getting one, unless UTEP had mailed it in the weekend after Thanksgiving, in front of about 2000 at Apogee. Our defense is small, slow, and the scheme is just awful as far as pass defense goes.

Defense looked terrible tonight but remember wku is the best offense we face in cusa.  We will play offenses that are "us before dsmith" level bad.

We'll win at least one. I am no longer afraid of going 0-12.

Are we the smallest, slowest football team in FBS?

I can't vote one way or the other. I think we have 2 shots at a win, UTSA and UTEP. I don't think either are guaranteed victories by any stretch of the imagination.

This team will win at least 1 game. No doubt about it.  Defense is bad, but WKU is probably the best team in CUSA.  They beat a lower rung SEC team, blew out Rice, and barely lost to a good IU team.

Middle Tenn is also still on the schedule, their wins are currently over Charlotte and Jackson St. they may have mailed it in by the time we play them as well.

Love to believe we will, but are D is horrible. We almost gave up 700 yards tonight. I believe Chico has us going in the right direction though

Recall, last weekend WKU put up 738 yards against Marshall (probably the 2nd best team in C-USA).

WKU rolling up all of those yards and points against our defense should not shock or concern anyone.   If you're concerned about the defense based on yesterday's game, you're not paying attention to C-USA football.  (now if you're concerned with the defense because of the previous 5 weeks, that's fine).
