1. D Smith will only get better. He did a reasonably fair job for a guy with three days prep time. The kid will only get better. Our offense might have been decent by now, if Mac would have started him early in the season.

2. Our defense is really bad. Cosh needs to be replaced as the D coordinator.

3. Canales shouldn't set a double standard. Some guys got suspensions for social media, and at least one other didn't. If you say, it do it. No one is bigger then the program.

4. Wilson and Goree are stars in the making.

5. RV still needs to go.

All good points. Those drops certainly wouldn't have made the difference, but just how much time do some of these receivers spend on the JUGS machine? Not enough that's for sure. Too many hands of stone out there.

Well what did they do? Harris bashed the students and fans. Was it worse then that? I lost a little respect for Canales when I saw Harris out there in the 1st quarter. Have a spine.

I am it sure what they did. I can say I was surprised on who was suspended. Hoping everyone can get it together and move forward.

All good points. Those drops certainly wouldn't have made the difference, but just how much time do some of these receivers spend on the JUGS machine? Not enough that's for sure. Too many hands of stone out there.

I think our receivers are going to need time getting used to Smith's passes. They have been trained on slower balls over the last two seasons. In all fairness, there were too many drops and some very bad passes from Smith. I think he will calm down and get more comfortable out there.

Wondering if Harris is as good as we think or was just the crutch for mcnulty...smith found plenty of other receivers to make plays with when the game mattered...Harris scored and caught passes in the fourth....not exactly prime time for an impact full player

5 thoughts about tonight

1. This team is auditioning for the next coach and whoever he is, I bet he's watching our games.

2. This team has talent at the skill positions that was not seen in the first 5 games.

3. The defense needs a total overhaul.

4. This team has enough talent be pretty good next year if the defense can be fixed.

5. Can a HC be in place with enough time to recruit the players he needs?

1. The secondary is extremely young and raw. But they have speed and talent. They need time to develop and I think they'll be able to develop into a good unit down the road. 

2. Offense is a different animal. Going downfield more. We were able to move the ball, inexperience kept showing. A lot of mistakes but got to learn. 

3. Was Kevin Patrick in the lime green shirt leading the defense?? D-Line needs to improve.

4. DSmith and Wilson rushing tandem opened up the play action. Goree open downfield a lot. DSmith needs to shake off the rust and jitters and put some touch on that ball in the intermediate range.
