How many lives does RV the cat have left?  We had numerous discussions about RV's ability to hire a quality FBS HC in 2006 and then again in 2009.

I saw it mentioned on this board that the univ. is considering a search COMMITTEE...this is not good news for RV.

I still go to every home game and go to some away games. 

I hadn't viewed GMG in many many years.  I would pull up Vito's blogs to try and keep up with the team. Yet my eyes would roll so far back on the "McNulty bandwagon" type articles that it was getting harder to keep reading that. I came back here to view the carnage from the latest Benny Hill AD situation.  I know the last two times we went through this situation the masses were still on board with RV. Seems like the tides have turned -- the talk of the "17" is all new to me. 

The new hires are lame. The old guard is still as incompetent and ivory towered as ever. 

I am happy to see this thread though! Like a blast from past.. Nothing has changed and that is depressing.

Well...it's certainly not a BAD thing for RV since he's on it.  However, it is a BAD thing for UNT since we now pay a cubic butt ton for an AD that nobody has confidence in.
