Honestly, he didn't do any coaching this year.  About the only remaining question is will he be man enough to go out and find enough work to mitigate some of it.  Sorry, I've come to the same conclusion about McCarney as people from Iowa have expressed about him.  Never much for learning anything.  Anyway, good riddance.

Not sure how connected Pete is.  This figure sounds a lot like his base salary times 3 years to get to the $1.8 number.  Not counting the rest of this year, or his incentive money.

Would actually be pretty good news if that was all that is owed.

Really doesn't matter since we don't seem to be too concerned about money and how it's blown these days.  We just paid Portland State $100K more than UTSA paid to bring in Arizona last year,...so....

I was told most of that money was brought in a while ago and used on or for other projects like a golf-center? Is that true?

Yes.  They even said so during the presentation.   Brint's contribution came in last year and it was for b-ball improvements in the Pit.  The newest one (supposedly un-allocated) is Mr. McNatt's.

The Athletic Department is currently working on a "new" golf center here in Carrollton.

The McNatt money was new.  The other two donations were from last year (Golf Center and Super Pit/practice facility).
