I'm not really worried about the NFL, but there are plenty of kids with All-CUSA potential (Jordan Murray, Sam Rice, Kirby, Miles, Goree, McClain, Barr, Garner, several young defensive tackles). Put those kids in a modern college football scheme with a decent QB and we can Hit6.

if your going to claim there's similar talent on this team as there was in  '10 then the NFL is a concern because there were around 5 or so from that time that has been on NFL rosters.

Also..after what I witnessed yesterday I'm willing to guess at least one of those on your list never plays again much less becomes All-Cusa.

I would guess so, too. I know there's a tendency on here to coddle the players, but there were several players out there who obviously couldn't care less about what happened and embarrassed the university. Maybe it was immaturity, maybe they didn't care, maybe it was something else. Regardless, I would look for some exits from the program.

Y'all,
I hate to be the "excuse maker", but we really should not expect much improvement from the team for WKU.    This is a short week and WKU is VERY VERY good.  Ideally, we just want to see more effort out of the players and better offensive playcalling.

Now, if we can take the extended week between WKU & MT, improve existing/implement new stuff, and either give MT a good game, or go in there and win our first game of the year, that would be amazing.
