RV! On a team that wasn't that great. It was fun. I had a blast at the cotton bowl. But soooooo overrated was that team. It had all the Mac issues. Didn't win conference, a conference that was down. Beat a meh UNLV team.  Won games with defense, special teams, and Dodge players or transfers. Straight up FACTS. Was DT good enough? And on and on. NO. Skaldany, Sarge, Trice, Orr, Chancellor, O-line, and so forth. But it was Huge for this program. Then those Dodge seniors left and Dan went 4-13 since. Fact. Done. Over.

So we gave him a contract that requires us to pay him season completion payments for seasons he doesn't complete...yea, that's smart. Typical bang up job by RV.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the reason why coaches got additional income from stipends was partly because if he was fired the University wouldn't be responsible for that part of the income.  How does that get guaranteed?  Sounds like we gave Mac a horrible contract from the University's point of view.

I need to hire Mac's lawyer next time I have my yearly review.
