Smith will be given a fair chance. We might see McNulty play for the 1st qrtr this Thursday. McNulty will then skunk his starting spot to the next man up.

That being said, Smith needs to shine like the sun the next few days. What Mac did to him a week ago was pretty screwed up. Throwing him to the wolves like that. I am willing to bet Smith taking the job with Canales evaluating.

No game film tomorrow for tonights game. Open competition at every position and start over. New season starting Thursday night.

It will be Smith....that's Canales's recruit. Annnnddd.....against a team he was once on. Lines up for a nice story unlike McNulty playing against Iowa who gave zero f@cks about him as a potential recruit

McNulty and Greer should never see the field again. Don't feel bad for them, Mac handed them a free education. Smith should take every snap for the rest of this year. He was recruited for a reason, you need to see if he's got "it". If he falls short go recruit more QBs. Every freshman QB recruited by Mac should be put on high alert to change positions. We know what Mac wanted in his QBs....
