My biggest concern is the fact they have a mobile QB.  UNT doesn't seem to fare very well against mobile QB's.  And this kid looks like a gamer.

Alex is not afraid to turn it upfield on a busted play and Paris ads an extra passer if needed. IIRC we tried to recruit him out of high school (his highlight video was something like 45 minutes long) when he was a top QB in Utah, but he went to BYU instead, who redshirted him and began to work on converting him to a WR before he had to go on mission (as all young Mormons are required to to). When he came back he decided he really wanted to go back to being a QB a QB so he went to a junior college to play.  We followed him through his career and when he graduated Barnum offered him a scholarship.

But he had to earn the position because we still had 3 other QB, McDonaugh (good runner), Penn (our U-QB) and Kraght (Kraft now a WR).  Now Barnum is looking to find a way get all four of these guys on the field for a quadruple threat.

Wow, what a concept.  We've had as many as 9 scholly quarterbacks at some point during the last year, and haven't figured out how to make any one of them a threat.

Mac says there isn't such thing as a gamer, so we needn't worry.

Damn, you beat me to it!

I like this "what scares me" theme.  I hope y'all keep being awesome.

Oh!  What scares me is that the players they recruited are also their starters.

What scares me the most about PSU is that if we lose, it continues the trend of my teams never being able to beat my wife's teams.

Oh God, I wouldn't be able to handle that embarrassment again...

It's true, obviously, I personally have too much to live for, but if PSU wins this game, I'm considering intentionally killing off my Dungeons and Dragons character in protest.....

We had a BA quarterback competition of our own. Emphasis on the B.

Some great responses here...

I fear Portland State's team actually breathing...that pretty much means they will beat us.

I fear hearing that they are a "good team" and that we need to practice better.

In closing, I just fear the UNT BOR more than any other collection of people when it comes to football.

As if the Portland State coach needs any more motivation........he has a chance to beat 2 FBS teams in the same year.

This, AND he is the interim HC so he is coaching for his job.

Guys, I don't know what you are all fretting over. Portland State has the exact same color combos as we do! All we have to do is switch which locker room they come out of, and we end up on top! Here's to some winning in Apogee again!

What scares me about PSU? Nothing, even if they hang 50 on us, they still have a Pro Basketball team that passed on Kevin Durant to pick Greg "Glass-Knees" Oden. No victory makes that pill easier to swallow. Geniuses..

GMG!!!

What scares me the most about Portland State isn't Portland State.  It's us.

We've lost 4 games by 113 points.  67 - 180

Our closest loss was to Rice.  We scored 2 late TDs to make it a 14 point loss.

We've lost all 4 games by an average of 28 points per game.

Sorry, but we're just not a very good football team right now.
