I really miss Shiner beer.  But I also miss all the choices I had in Portland.  It's unofficial nickname was "Beertopia" because it has so many brewpubs (more than Cologne Germany). I used to joke with my friends in Kerrville that in Portland you could find a brewpub on every other street corner and a strip club on the other.

Beer - Whiskey (crown black) - will have the liquor machine full of fireball - vodka - moonshine - rum (jamican overproof) - and then just before the game we have a tailgate tradition to take a shot of Yukon Jack to give the boys some inspiration.  (Long story behind it, if you want to know stop by sometime and partake and then you will get the story)

I'll be out there.  Pulled Pork with bacon mac and cheese slider, BBQ bacon wrapped onion ring beef sliders and chicken fried chicken slider topped with a slaw.

I wish, but right now I'm on the opposite side of the world working in China teaching history and geography to Chinese students who are planning on attending college in the U.S.

Besides my wife and three year old may not like the idea of daddy going to strip joints.

I thought it was so strange when I went to Portland this summer.  I stayed with an old high school classmate and his wife.  SHE was the one who kept relentlessly insisting he take me to a Portland strip club.  She seemed super proud of that as an aspect of Portland culture.  I declined and bought alcohol and acquired some legal medicinals instead of spending my money on a serious case of the blue balls.
