Now if you could get the old Johhny Cash protest song, Man in Black, played over the PA or by the band at half time, it would be perfect..

Check out you tube: Johnny Cash sings "Man in  Black" for the first time.  It's awesome.

Also will by flying flags upside down indicating distress.

Remember when Ben Gooding flew the battle flag upside down on Gameday first week of everyone else's season? Smarter than all of us.

Why stop at black shirts and pants to show you're unhappy? How about a black pearl necklace, sensible midnight pumps and eye liner?

We're all pissed, but after a few days, I'm wondering if this is the right show of anger. All you do is make an obvious situation about you and how mad you are. While that may feel good at first, there are people who come to homecoming for other reasons and either having to listen to some dude loudly explain himself or drunkenly rail at the coaching staff is not going to make for a game day experience anyone wants to remember or repeat. Everyone in that stadium knows we suck and it seems like the better avenue is to walk away, write letters, stay out of the stadium or find other outlets for attention.

Then again, I was once on national TV in green spandex with stickers on my nips, so what the F do I know?

Here is the deal. If you are going to get drunk and act like a fool, don't wear black. If you have enough self control to simply wear black, jeer like normal, and only calmly explain why you are wearing black IF ASKED, then please, join us.

If you can't do this, don't embarrass the rest of us. Wear your green and rail away,

EDIT: meant to say CHEER like normal, not jeer. Subconscious taking over

Wearing a bag over your head will surely get you kicked out of the game--not that its right in anyway to get kicked out, but this is UNT, so...

I won't be there on Saturday, but black attire probably seems ok.

I think it subtle way to handle it, black is an option color for North Texas at all the fan apparel stores. Plus we are still in the crowd supporting the players cheering for a win mostly. I don't want to set UNT history with a 0-12 record, and we should not have to. RV needs to go the writing is on the wall, and soon so everything else can follow.

Green white and black are also PSU's colors. There's a high likelihood that they'll be in black and white Saturday...Act

Actually, Green and white are our colors with black as an accent.  The all black stuff was a holdover from the three years of the Jerry Glanville debacle

We hope to be looking back on another one of those debacles, and soon.  Holdover for you is fashion du jour for us.

Like I said, we went through our "all black phase" during the Glanville years. Thankfully we ditched these uniforms for game wear (they have been relegated to practice jerseys) and gone back to our traditional green.

Tremayne Kirkland sports the new white and black road uniform ...

I also hope we have gotten rid of those awful black helmets with the silver spear down the middle and returned to our old logo.

Although I thought the camo uniforms we wore last year were extra cool.
