Geez!! Just check out the Sagarin listings and scroll down the list. It is very humbling, more like humiliating, to see where we are and the company we keep.

I just think god we are ranked higher than Incarnate Word.  And how about #59 North Dakota State(FCS).  Must be an easy place to recruit to.

This is how you need to picture NDSU:

Similar to Texas Tech.   Oil/gas money is a wonderful, never-ending gift.

Really?  Then North Texas should be rolling in it right?  And thank god for the great state of Texas for keeping the drilling going in Denton too...right?

Woo Hoo!...success here we come!

Pay attention.
Where are all of our oil-rich alumni?  Sadly, there are none.  Thus, we're stuck where we are.

After reading that compilation of rankings, every other FBS university in the country would be so embarrassed by this that changes would have already happened (i.e., coordinators demoted or fired, personnel on the field would've changed).

But here, we keep a senior QB that couldn't play anywhere else as the starter of an 0-4 team, even as we prepare to host a FCS team, coached by the same OC and head coach he has had for his entirety at the school.

It might be time to seriously consider if the university has what it takes to keep fielding an FBS team if nothing is going to change here at some point in the next few months.

75% of my family works in O&G: It's pretty freaking lean right now.

I have family in it too.  I'm aware.   I'm not talking about the workers/industry guys.  I'm talking about the rights owners who continue to cash in (even if the price/barrel is low).  Maybe not as much as they were last year and beyond, but definitely still bringing in money that they're not really working for.

People in that field are also of the ilk that they spend money on things they enjoy.

Like college football.
