As the lone bright spot in tonight's game, I thought I'd post his stats.

Tonight versus USM Wilson had 22 carries for 136 yards. He averaged 6.2 yards a carry.  Solid job Wilson.

if he's smart he will transfer to a school that gives a shit about athletics.

"Lone" bright spot is a stretch--Ivery had 8 yards a carry; Carlos had 136 yards receiving.  There were others as well.  The problem is, we had too many opposite-of-bright-spots.  The tackling was absolutely awful out there, as was the pass protection most of the time.

You are right, and I will correct my statement.

Ivery had a good game. Too bad much of it came in garbage time against the USM backups. Ivery should have seen more time earlier in the game. He played better then Jimmerson. Harris also had a good game. Too bad the three other players that caught passes only netted 65 yards. Like the rest of the team, something is very wrong in our receiving corp this season.

Our kickers did well too.

While Jimmerson had 10 carries for 16 yards. No clue why they would give him the ball with Wilson and Ivery on the roster. More bad coaching.

No idea why Mac doesn't use/alternate Jeff "the jet" Wilson and Willie Ivery.  That first drive, we're moving the ball fine with Wilson.  Insert "dancing" Jim Jim and the drive stalls.  To me Jimmersen is better when the ball is thrown to him out of the backfield on swing passes.  Still, we need more Ivery and Wilson.

He would look great as the featured back in a triple option offense...
