this whole "Iowa reunion" crap is pretty unnerving.

You don't work there anymore, coach. How about concentrating on YOUR CURRENT TEAM.

And we get to go through this 2 more times with a return trip to Iowa and a trip to Florida.

Thanks for this great scheduling that demeans OUR university, RV.

McCarney called Mcnulty's performance "solid."

14-36 for 137 yards, one fumble turnover and one pick 6.

he really doesn't care about winning and simply wants a family friend's son to play his senior year. Doesn't seem to be any other explanation

Sad part is, the uptempo was working.  It gave iowa some trouble.  With backs like wilson and Ivery in there, we looked like we had a real offense.  Can you imagine how the uptempo, read option offense could look if we had a running threat at QB?

exactly what i was thinking. all Iowa did was slant the D-line  away from the RB. if we did have a true running  threat a QB it would keep the d-line honest and give the running game a chance. i fear that the O-line is bad. the Qbs feel like they have to get the ball out on the first read. the defense is young there is some light there.

Or any kind of a threat at QB.

The announcers kept saying what a dual threat McNulty was...I was confused...

I think he meant a dual threat to his own team.

When you get your ass kicked that bad, you should not put out an almost 10 minute highlight video. I think including the 3-4 yard gains is a bit of a reach.

This.

He isn't going anywhere after this year or after next year. Whether we have the funds or not, this school isn't doing a 180 on their view of revenue athletics. Look no further than the Super Pit and Tony Benford's stellar time here at UNT, where attendance has dropped over 50% because we can't even get to .500 with a dumbed down schedule. And we won't buyout a contract that would cost us an extra $325k to get rid of him before the 4th year of a 5-year contract. Very much like Todd Dodge got 4 years here, too.

Mac ain't going anywhere. RV probably isn't, either.
