That was our NCAA tournament appearance year, where we played North Carolina. I think the record was 15-14, give or take a win

I agree that Coach Jimmy Gales is on the left but that doesn't look like Tony Worrell with him. Not sure about the record, but I believe that they ended at an even .500.

I was purely guessing on the player with Coach Gales. Can anyone confirm the player?

That is Coach Jimmy Gales on the left, and I'm still researching who the player is on the right, but I also don't think it's Tony Worrell. Keenan DeBose was all-conference the year before and this year with Worrell, could that be him? This 1986-87 team finished 11-17 and was a year before the NCAA Tourney team that went 17-13.

I agree that isn't Tony Worrell. Tony's ears were more distinctive, and he didn't have as much hair.
