SMU loses to 1AA James Madison

My wondering leads me to hope we don't non-win our FCS game.  SMU supposedly hired Jesus to lead their team, but he is just another false prophet. 

People say these things, and someday they will be believed by the thinking thinkmen in America: 
-It doesn't matter how big Texas is, or how many high school players it has.  We're not getting even the fourth or fifth best at any position.
-There has only been one consensus college football national title come out of the state of Texas since 1969.  The Texas prep football talent depth is highly overrated.  It's like the second gunman on the grassy knoll - always spoken of, but never proven.
 

Maybe we just find a really good two-way lineman, give him two identities and let him try to pass himself off as a different person every series. Do you think he could pull it off better than you could?

Pretty sweet stadium for FCS.  Are they the next team looking to nuzzle up to Karl Benson?

Actually, no.  They want to wait for a CUSA slot. 

Given our respective records vs SMU this year, we should be glad CFB isn't a relegation/promotion sport...

I told everyone that SMU would win 1-2 games this year at the most...Morris might end up being a cood coach there, but he has no talent to speak of.

I agree with this.  Their roster is depleted.  My question is can he break the string of SMU head coaches that haven't had another FBS college head coaching job after leaving SMU since Hayden Fry in 1972.  I don't know if Herman or Morris is going to have the better head coaching career, but I laughed at all the SMU fans that said they got the better coach because they had to pay more for him.  Of course they had to pay more because they have a long history of killing coaching careers.  UH can pay less because 2 of our last 3 coaches were able to move on to very high paying P5 teams.
