I see a lot of points up there. We go for almost 500 yards and only get 24. Man it's crazy how we can put up decent yard numbers and yet feel like the offense struggled.

What scares me is when you look at our remaining schedule.  Iowa seems to be on a roll, Portland State looks tough, Southern Miss won a big game today and are 2-1.

WKU, La. Tech, Marshall will be VERY difficult games as will MUTS... Tennessee... I wish we didn't have to even play that game.  That's the last thing this program needs right now.

Our best bet for wins appears to be Portland State, Southern Miss, UTSA and UTEP -- of course we lost to 3 of them last year, in some cases handily... 

But now honestly, there does not appear to be a gimme game on the schedule.  The Portland State game could be trouble.

That Tennessee game should have been played at least 2 years ago, or longer... but that can got kicked down the line as long as it could have... now we're stuck playing one of the better squads they've had in quite a while.

The numbers are a little deceiving because over a 3rd of those yards came in garbage time. One play gave you 93 of those. At 38-10 the offense produced 320 total yards.

I know a lot of people are calling it garbage time, but I'm not so sure about that. Rice had to keep playing their ones. We made it a 14 point game with 7 mins to go. That would no longer be garbage time. That's now a game. Saw it in Bama and UT game where being down 20 points wasn't really garbage time.

It got interesting there at the end, but if you want to call it like that then you could say Rice turned it back on and put it away. Also, McNulty looked horrible on that last drive and had 2 picks dropped.

Jordan Murray got beat badly on that last drive and gave up a huge sack that put us in terrible spot.
