Not sure you're going to hear a lot more from this from Irving sources. The Irving Chamber of Commerce and city economic development people want this to go away as fast as they can. This hit a nerve with a lot of tech people who took stuff apart and put it back together in different ways when they were teenagers. Those are the people behind Apple, Microsoft, Rackspace, Facebook, Amazon, Google, etc. And that also describes a lot of the people making decisions about where to put their companies and their people - people with kids who might do this very thing! The people making the decisions that will decide Irving and Texas economic future don't want their employees kids subjected to this. A lot of the reports listed "Texas" and not just "Irving" and thus you notice Governor Abbott saying it appears likely Irving overreacted. His economic team knows what this kind of publicity can do to growth.

Also not real sure why we are all wasting time arguing on this when, unless we change something, the current AD is going to be hiring a new football coach in the not too distant future.
