There is a speed limit change before Corinth Parkway (2nd exit past Swisher-where you will see some of the cheaper gas in the area). The new limit is 55. I haven't seen anyone actively enforcing it yet, but better safe than sorry for those of you who may not have been up to Denton recently. That same area has a lane switch as well-nothing too bad, just different than most folks may remember. Additionally, multiple exit and entrance ramps have been relocated.

LOL. It's likely because of all the accidents along that stretch of road.  Not a week goes by where there is a lane closure due to an accident.

Possible, but the lanes are more narrow than normal right now and there isn't much of shoulder (or no shoulder for some stretches). Those could contributing factors for the wrecks of course, but the road as is isn't really safe for higher speeds.

The road isn't safe at all, IMO.  You frequently have bends to move you around areas they are working on with barriers on both sides.  I hate 35E right now.  I'll be taking 380 more often until 35E gets better.

Not sure 380 is better.  That's how I travel to Denton and there are bad accidents every other time it seems.
