All the players and coaches should hang their heads down in shame for an uninspired effort last night. SMU is not that good and this is just the tip of the iceberg for this season. Rice will be much better and we're in trouble brothers. Andrew must go now! This guy couldn't start for Southlake Carroll or Allen high school. Dan has failed to secure a decent QB since he's been here and this is his fatal mistake...No QB, you're not going to win games, period! Okay, RV you always say the fans need to step-up, well they did last night for sure and your team let us down in a big way! Don't blame the fans for your incompetence of hiring good coaches (Todd Dodge and good old Dan); this is on your shoulders Rick and you need to "step up" and resign!

Yes, I think I would resign from a $300K a year job.  I still think RV made a career ending mistake extending Mac.  I for one would feel a lot better if Mac was coaching for his football career this year, and knowing a bad season would send him packing. 

Of course, RV has survived the Dodge and Benford hires and a ton of bad other decisions; as well as his open war with Dickey, so probably nothing will happen.   However, if it were up to me, RV would be the first to go, before Benford or McCarney.

      Without knowing much about boxing, I think the powers will declare Paul the winner. There's a young generation of potential longterm viewers who grew up watching him make YouTube videos and having him beat Tyson brings too many potential viewers for the future of the sport. It's like introducing fast food in public schools in the 80s and 90s. Their future money depends on it.

      To SUMG’s point, I remember the Mean Green Club and the Mean Green 100 Club starting during the Hayden era. Remember the beautiful lime green sport coats given to the Mean Green 100 members ? I still have a decal on the wing window of my ‘77 sports car that I applied sometime after I bought the car in ‘77. And, I’m convinced we might still be in Fouts Field were it not for Rick V. Thanks.

      A lot of us old timers didn't want to make a change from NT to UNT. He went through 4 or 5 presidents while he was AD, I each who had their own idea as to how to market North Texas.In addition his budget was pocket change. You can thank Rick and C.Dan Smith for your new football stadium.

      Tyson may be 31 years older, but he is still going to beat Paul like a rented mule. After seeing him at the weigh-in, I surmised that Tyson is in shape (for the first time in 30+ years) and still has his hand speed. Even if some of Tyson's punching power has diminished, he still has enough power to knockout a Youtuber.
