I love this!!! I think UNT has done 100% better this year than previous years marketing and reaching out to certain groups to try to draw new interests to the football games.
I have mentioned this previously but they are doing a Breast Cancer Awareness Night, Military Appreciation Night and Boy Scouts of America Day,

Excellent.the more contact with the community the better.  Why not have kids adopt a player like we do on gomeangreen.com?

Absolutely love it...

Season:

1. greenjoe's idea.

2. Smaller version with free books from either the University Store or Voertmans.

3. Post game concert with a stage set up in one of the endzones. Must have a ticket or have ID scanned by halftime. No admittance without attending the game.

4. Admit kids from the Denton Pee Wee football league free or for a small fee if they wear the uniform to the game.

5. Dot races

I will say what many of you already know: They do "NOT" want us telling them what to do. Honestly, would you if you were in their shoes, too? When we (including me) suggest all these ideas it's sorta' telling them we don't think they are doing their jobs and that alone can be argued since I think their main problem is lack of promotions budget and a promotions department manpower to pull off "large group promotions." Still, more outside the usual pay scale projects such as a, "Band Day", Scout Day, Pee Wee Football Day, Vets Day, etc, etc, ect would benefit our school and its athletic program immensely, especially in the turnstiles area

GMG!

Maybe the GMG.com voice finally been heard on this.

Ultimately, very glad to see an aggressive effort to drive attendance through promotion/advertising rather than solely relying on coaches/staff using the media to beg dormant alumni to turn out

Absolutely love it.

I've mentioned
