Doubtful.  Lines aren't set by some actuarial table on probability of winning, but rather intended to get 50% of the betting public to bet on each side of the equation.  This has nothing to do with actual outcome, but rather with the public's perception of both programs.

I'm not so sure...north texas coming off a 4-8 season, smu a 1-11....but they hired a new, exciting coach, looked decent enough against Baylor and regular folks may jump on the smu side...first fame of the year for our guys....road game...
