Baylor is ranked 4th in country.They may be over rated, but not this much. SMU is just playing very well. They may not win tonight, but I doubt our defense will stop them.

We are going to get our asses kicked next week if McNulty plays anything like last year. 

This is ridiculous.  My goodness, have a little faith in our young men.  I hope McNulty has a career day and gives you all the finger as he leaves the field.  Then again, he has shown he has more class than that.

A lot of y'all are having a melt down right now. Its a new year for McNulty, (I have been critical of him too) but let's form an opinion when he plays on the 12th. It's a new year for the guy.

This is the best thing that could happen for us.  SMU is fired up to play Baylor, a school their fans care a lot about and they are obviously ranked high. They will hear all week how they are gonna be great with Morris, even if they lose. Then little ol' North Texas will come to town, with our motivation and hatred for them being on par with what they feel about their old SWC brethren. It'll be a tough game but we will beat them.

Really worried about next week. Even if they lose, they will be pumped for the next week after that half performance. Our team,meanwhile, will come off a freaking first week bye. Seriously? Not to harp on this, but a freaking first. week. bye.

The biggest positive from this is we will have quality game film to study. Something Baylor did not have nor did anyone think they needed.

SMU is advertising 100 unbridled years of football. I beg to differ. It's actually 98 completely unbridled years of football and 2 completely restrained years. Just saying...

Exactly what I was afraid of.  June Jones out recruited Mac for several kids.  They had talent last year, its June had given up already.

Add a new coach who knows how to run a great system, a couple key recruits and... we are in trouble.

At some point you will have to face reality. Have you watched him at all during his career at NT? I think the worries are 100% warranted.

My sarcasm was hard to detect in that post. He's been very level headed even with all the criticism. 

You are absolutely correct in that our criticisms should be aimed at the staff & AD.

We'll see if this staff has him playing beyond what we've seen in the past....

Well said. It isn't appropriate to trash 18-22 year old men. It is far better to crush the 50 year old men.
