This is the first triumph over SEC for a CUSA since 2010. It wasn't pretty but it was a W.

Arizona only beat UTSA by ten. UTSA played pretty well but lost with some seriously costly turnovers.

Good opening for CUSA. What do you think can be seen from our conference-mates in these games? Close game with a top 25 is a pretty good start for a loss.

I like how UTSA showed at Arizona, I don't like how that might show our team's odds against UTSA. Then again, that could just be a lucky flash for UTSA.

UTSA comes out of the gate firing on all cylinders every season.   Beat Houston @Houston last year at the opening of their new stadium.   After that, it seems people have enough film on them to figure out whats going on and beat them.

I don't think it's a lucky flash, but I wouldn't read too much into it. Football is played one week at a time. Definitely surprised me though.

Scooby Wright, by far Arizona's best defensive player and All American, wemt down with a knee injury. I dug a little deeper and apparently without him on the field Arizona's defense is very limited and soft, or at least that is what the talking heads have said.

Just from the highlights, a lot of those turnovers either bounced UTSA's way, or were super egregious by Arizona.

For those that watch the game, how did Bogenschutz look? From the reel it looked like he was throwing some darts.

Edit: Neeeeevermind just found the other thread...

On WKU....I haven't done my research on them, but their oline really struggled all night long.  They couldn't protect Doughty or open any holes for their RBs.  Did they have a bunch of turnover up front?
