Only around 40,000 tickets have been sold as of yesterday and not many Badgers’ fans are buying them, according to NFL.com senior analyst Gil Brandt. AT&T Stadium (home of the Dallas Cowboys) seats 80,000 fans, which means that as of right now the stadium will be half full.

Maybe don't have games in places where both schools are hundreds (1000s) of miles away?

^ yup.

Also, the UNC v South Carolina game tonight in Charlotte is expected to have 20K empty seats. The place holds 70K, so you're looking at 50K showing up to the game when their campuses are 1.5 hour away (Columbia) and 2 hours away (Chapel Hill). I am not sure if that 50K they are predicting is also calculating walk ups. But considering the capacities of their home stadiums, the distance from their campuses and the projected attendance it is kind odd to hear that.

I wonder what the face value is on tickets for this game. Add in ridiculous parking costs and concessions--only a diehard would want to come and watch this game.

I am not sure about this game but the Arkansas A&M game at Jerry world is going for like $150 a pop.
