I guess that some programs are quick at playbook education and choose talent over seniority.

We are talking a completely different talent level in said QB's. Don't ya think?   

 

My guess is if a former D1 QB that had National Championship Game experience were to transfer here it would be somewhat different than a JUCO QB with 0 D1 experience.

Mac was going with McNulty no matter what. He was preaching no one could learn the plays at camp before giving our new QB a chance. It was Busch League and obvious to the casual observer. And Greer #2? I hope and pray they can figure out how to pass for greater than 15 yards between the two of them.

I love UNT football but it's seriously pathetic that a university with damn near 40,000 students in the metroplex can't find 1 legit quarterback. I also don't care for our head coach coming out in the middle of a season and saying it's hard for him to recruit in Denton. If I was a recruit again I'd take that as I should look elsewhere. We had far far better QBs when we were D1aa, with terrible facilities, and way less university support. So, I don't want more excuses this year. I want results.

What we really have in our quarterback newcomer is still pretty vague at this point for the most part, but if I had to speculate on the known and available evidence, I would probably guess that the talent spread between the obvious candidates is more narrow in Tallahassee than it is in Denton. Again. just speculating.
