Especially with this being our bye, I assume we'll all want to pay special attention to how our conference mates fare against others...especially the G5 peers.  Here are the games to watch:

AAC (1-1)
Win: FIU 15 @ UCF 14 (9/3)
Loss: FAU 44 @ Tulsa 47 (9/5)

Sun Belt (1-0)
Win: Charlotte 23 @ Georgia State 20 (9/4)

MAC (1-0)
Win: ODU 38 @ Eastern Mich 34 (9/5)

WKU @ Vandy is one I'll have my eye on. Derek Mason will try to play keep away and run at WKU's defense. Intriguing to see how that one plays out. A solid 3td win by WKU will speak highly of CUSA even if its just Vandy.

All in all, a good night for C-USA.  A good win over a solid UCF program, a win over an SEC school, and a toe to toe match vs. a top 25 Pac-12 team in which the Road Runners out gained Arizona by over 100 yards.  Now we just need to take care of business when the time comes.

That WKU run defense looked good.

Yes, it did. They have a few very good defensive tackles. A couple good linebackers too.

What's scary is that WKU had 8 drops. If those would have been caught Doughty would have went 27/30 for well over 300 yards and it would have blown the game wide open. Their RB runs people over too. They're going to be a tough out for us. Our team will have to come ready to play to even keep it competitive, IMO.
