I would say, that given the scruitny that any action touching on this subject gets today, that these guys were more than a little bit stupid.  ODU can at least say that they were not living on campus property.  There is that I guess.  Funny, I had just read the ODU president's state of the university speech in a recent issue of the Nirfolk paper and said to myself that the guy was serious about this campus issue.  Then...boom...this!  Will be interesting to see what ODU can do about it.  Pretty darn stupid.

I will be very interested to compare and contrast the responses to this with those from the Baylor thread...

Why?  Did this occur at the home of a football player?  And that football player actually assaulted girl?  And the university tried to cover it up as well as removing the scholarship of the victim so she was effectively forced to leave the university?  And did the defensive coordinator tell a gathering of boosters that said football player should be ready for the season, even after knowing what had transpired?
