Great job Mean Green. With the talent in the metro-plex alone this team should be a powerhouse and a source of pride for the university! I am looking forward to taking my family to a game this year. Go Mean Green!

Coach Hedlund is still going strong! Little known fact, he was the coach of the men's program in 1994. That was the season that the team disbanded, a sad day for UNT, but I am glad he was retained to lead the women's program to the level it is now.

I hope that someday the men's program will be re-instated. However I will always be a proud supporter of the UNT women's team!!!!!

Is men's soccer on the agenda for the near future? Or how does it work reinstating a sport at the university?

Baseball is next on the agenda.   I'd like to see mens soccer someday, but we need to make sure we can afford to add baseball competitively before we add soccer too.
