I don’t know that I believe this story. Bowl gifts have nothing to do with NIL and to the best of my knowledge, come from the bowls/bowl sponsors, not from the schools. I have a hard time believing BYU players were treated to a great bowl experience while the Colorado players were not. -

19-year-old fatally shot in Denton
DENTON, Texas - Police are investigating a shooting that killed a 19-year-old in Dentonon Sunday afternoon. What We Know: Denton police say they received a 9-1-1 call for an unresponsive person just after 1 p.m. The victim, later identified as 19-year-old Cody Stewart, was found shot on the 200 block of Normal Street. Stewart was rushed to Medical City Denton Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police say a second resident was involved in a disturbance that resulted in Stewart being shot. What We Don't Know: Police did not go into detail about the disturbance that led to the shooting. No information has been given about the suspect.
