If i may add:

6. The front 7 of our defense is going to be stout this year, very excited to watch this group.

Or the front 7 becomes a front 10-14 in terms of quality depth.

You look at the DL and what kind of different looks we can throw at teams and it gets you excited. We also may have found some guys to fill the void up the middle that has been a problem ever since Abbe graduated. One thing will be fun to watch is when we do go 3-4 and what kind of blitz schemes Cosh cooks up. I would keep an eye on Sed Ellis coming off the edge.

exactly with the depth we have at both positions (LB & DL) our lack of offense should not be that big of a taxation on our defensive front 7.  If the positions are rotated correctly.

It could still be a problem if we are going up tempo and dont get first downs. It doesnt matter how deep you are if your offense cant move the chains the defense will struggle eventually.

Where has it been said that we will run any 3-4? Havent heard that before at all.

Sir Calvin said it on Periscope that they do both. Situational I am sure.

And to the previous posts about the next Abbe, yes Sir Calvin. And Taylor may be a FR, but damn. Damn.

You will see some 3 man fronts this year. It will most likely be a version of a 3-3 stack defense that can look like a 3-4 or 4-3. Its possible due to a few of the LB positions being used as a hybrid role.  When you think about some of our LBs. They are versatile enough to pull it off.
