Thank you for the access, Ashton!

Obviously, QB play is a factor in this number, but this number highlights for me the importance of this unit in helping our QB succeed...

QB Sacked Percentage

  • 2013 - 2.66% (#6 in FBS)
  • 2014 - 7.08% (#89 in FBS)

Going back to Season 1 of BTG, the episode at Simmonds' home immediately elevated him to one of my favorites on the staff (a list that seems to be growing more competitive each offseason, by the way) and I'm expecting his guys to really pave the way for a solid running game this year & improvement in keeping the QB upright.
