Man! If people are still crazy about the "worm" I've got about half a case of "Worm" Christmas ornaments that were made during that era. They have the "worm" sitting atop the block letters NTSU.

Yes.  I'm not real happy with the helmet color.  Too dark.

One correction on my "worm" Christmas ornament. The worm is not sitting on NTSU. North Texas State is arched over the worm, and University is arched under it. "Eagles" in small letters is right under the "worm". Once again, they are not reproductions of that era......they were made at end of the Hayden Fry era....79.

One correction on my "worm" Christmas ornament. The worm is not sitting on NTSU. North Texas State is arched over the worm, and University is arched under it. "Eagles" in small letters is right under the "worm". Once again, they are not reproductions of that era......they were made at end of the Hayden Fry era....79.

I'd love one (my first year at NT was 1979), and I'm Jewish! :)  I'd hang it on my in-laws tree, along with the Michigan, Michigan State, and TSU-San Marcos ornaments.  Since my father-in-law graduated from NTSC in the mid 1950's, I'm sure he'd get a kick out of it.

 

Did you ever think of having an all - NTSU tree, and hang all of those ornaments?  The tree is green...

Thanks to Silver Eagle I have one of those super cool Flying Worm Christmas ornaments.  I can assure you it will adorn our Christmas this year and for many years to come.  It will look great amongst our several other UNT and A,muni Association ornaments.
