Say.  The road game against LA Tech is a 2:30 kick.   I was planning to stop off in Shreveport on my way back and figured there will be several Mean Green faithful staying in Shreveport.  Is there a good place we could have a meetup after the game, possibly a casino bar, to celebrate our victory or drown our sorrows?  I haven't spent much time in Shreveport.

Dude, that avatar picture is pure awesome! Anyways, I go down to Shreveport a lot to visit family and am a big fan of the Bossier City (think that is how it's spelled) casino area right next to Shreveport. Right by the river boardwalk.

This is a good idea!  I haven't been casinoing there in awhile but Horseshoe used to be good.  There is also an Acme Oyster House off of the main highway that I have been to recently which has a bunch of TV's and great food.

I've talked to people with ties to the Alumni Association and the Mean Green Club.  They are looking at possibly doing a meet up in Shreveport the night before the game.  That would be great.

They did that last year at the Margaritaville casino...we were supposed to attend but definitely idea to get a flat on the way there, with a flat spare...

 

Certainly plan on attending this year!
