Has anyone heard anything in regards to our radio broadcast and what signal it will be on?

Seems like this is an area that has gotten a little stagnant over the years.

I like 88.1 but that signal is rough for parts of DFW.  I get that TV is all important but I would like to see us get some decent coverage in Houston, East Texas, Austin, San Antonio.

The radio product has been great, I think that will continue with Dave.  I just worry that some won't hear it.  SMU has the Ticket, and it seems other stations will run Texas college games on the radio.

I also think about it in regards to other sports especially baseball when it returns.

@Marty we may be but I tend to agree with Rudy, a fairly unknown channel that honestly half the time I can find on my own.

a bigger question. Does a good radio signal with a partnership to promote matter anymore.  To me it does but I was born before electricity.

I live north of the DFW metroplex and have never had any problem picking up 95.3, I think their transmitter is near Farmersville (east of McKinney). I listen to that station daily and have tuned in as far east as Paris and westward almost to Wichita Falls. I could see where their signal may not reach some of the southern parts of the metroplex though. Texas Tech football was on that station for several years before we were.

Why would the ticket run SMU games....

SMU has had a long standing affiliation with The Ticket like over a decade.

just odd they would have a bad football team on there. I could get TCU games, but SMU. I guess money does rule.

I recently heard an a$m promo about games being broadcast on the Ticket. Not sure if smoo games will be on there this season. I assume they will be when no conflicts.

today I heard on espn radio that they would have all atm  (hole to hole) games...
