Guy just continues to prove his critics wrong.  How again in the f did this guy not get drafted?  Did any scout watch his film and look at his bloodlines?

My opinion is that the NFL has a dirty little secret...don't pay the money and draft North Texas players--we can get them on the cheap by forcing them to free agency.

Training camp's just a couple weeks away now and Orr is getting buzz as a "sleeper" to watch once things get underway.

Zach Orr: 2015 Baltimore Ravens Super Sleeper?

"The Baltimore Ravens have a rich history of sifting through the undrafted free agent pile to uncover talent.  They also have a linebacker roster rich with talent.  But while we debate the roster prospects of Arthur Brown and look forward to the sophomore campaign of C.J. Mosley, there is a dark horse rising from the pile – second year UDFA Zach Orr.

...

Whether or not he makes an impact on defense in 2015, it’s a pretty safe bet that Zach Orr will continue to grow as a player.  And the worst case scenario is that he remains an integral part of special teams, which is a strength for this Ravens squad.  Either way, the Zach Orr hype train is picking up steam this offseason."

Sorry for the repeated updates, but Z. Orr just won't stop standing out in Baltimore...

Orr smothers in coverage: Second-year inside linebacker Zachary Orr continued to stand out, especially in pass coverage. He stayed step-for-step with running backs and tight ends during 7-on-7 and full-team drills, and the coaching staff singled out his coverage several times during the early portion of practice.

I said it when he signed with the Ravens and I'll say it again. Starter by year 3 of his career.

Hell, he may prove me wrong and be a starter by year 2.

It certainly looks like he's forcing himself onto the field.

I'd love nothing more than to see Orr & CJ Mosely as a fixture in the middle of that defense for years to come.  Current starter Daryl Smith is older (12th year) and as best as I can piece together, others currently listed ahead of him on their depth chart have either under-performed (Arthur Brown) or are in the last year of their current contract (Albert McClellan)

This may've been posted already, but if you want a good lengthy read on Zach Orr from long-time Baltimore sports media staple Joe Platania...

RAVENS' ZACHARY ORR: UNDRAFTED, ANONYMOUS AND ON THE RISE

Posted on August 19, 2015 by Joe Platania

STRONG CANDIDATE TO SEE PLAYING TIME AT INSIDE LINEBACKER

Undrafted players often live in an anonymous world. Ravens inside linebacker Zachary Orr is no different.

Despite his usual strong training camp showing on special teams and fast-rising stock as a reserve on the regular defense, not one media question for head coach John Harbaugh or defensive coordinator Dean Pees concerned the 6-foot, 255-pounder from the University of North Texas, which is the alma mater of Hall of Fame defensive lineman "Mean Joe" Greene.

When Orr finally took to the podium Aug. 18, three of the nine questions directed at him concerned other players.

Orr is also probably unaware that he is not even the most famous Baltimore pro football player with that last name, that being long-ago Colts receiver Jimmy Orr, who had his own corner of the Memorial Stadium south end zone named after him: "Orrsville."

But Orr knows that, despite the relative lack of attention, plus the fact his name wasn't called during the 2014 selection meeting, he couldn't have landed in a better spot.
